the fourth

One plan and then another. Things are all over the place.
Maybe things changed a few different times, but in the end, it was a fantastic night. Boxes of sparklers and jugs of lemonade. The sky explodes with fireworks, but I think our voices were even louder at one point. Kids running around and the click of the shutter. Blankets are on the ground and the roof of the porch creaks under the weight of children on the swings. Eventually, the sky goes dark.
Summer's been at it again -- another grand night.

  1. Love the firework pictures. :) We celebrate Canada Day over here (the first instead of the 4th,) but I think our night looked a lot like yours, except we viewed the explosion from the beach instead of the backyard. :)

Lots of fun either way. :)
