April Weekend

Wednesday, April 11, 2012

This past weekend was entirely crazy, and I was most definitely tired by the end of it. But I was such a good weekend.

Friday was waking up early, reading, laughing with friends, photographs, crazy walmart adventures, and late nights.
Saturday was 3 hour conversations about characters (thanks, melissa :)), seeing dear Krista after 3 months, great-grandma's birthday party, and sleeping on the couch.
Sunday was church and lunch, kids-only trip to walmart, jamming out in the backseat (and, I might add, we were seen and imitated by three teenage guys on the street. Embarrassing and hilarious all at the same time. Mostly hilarious.), buying a new notebook, and writing for hours.

Some photographs from the weekend:

How was your weekend?

  3. your pictures? absolutely wonderful!! :)

can i be a part of your character conversation sometime? ;) seriously, the only person i know who likes THG and is in close proximity to me is my dad.

my weekend? chatting with friends, a hike down to the river with my older brother, taking lots of pictures, eating chocolate, dreams of travel, long walks, math (not for fun), trifle-making, and a big Easter dinner with the family.

  4. Looks like you had a lovely weekend! And I might add that I am extremely jealous of whoever got to consume the drink in the 7th picture. :)

  6. ditto what Acacia said. you have very nice feet. please be thankful for them for me. I have the hugest, clumsiest, awkward feet you can imagine, well not that bad, but they aren't pretty, at all! and the first picture belongs on pintrest!

  16. Gorgeous photos! I think the first is my favourite :) and it sounds like an awesome weekend! Unfortunately, the majority of my weekend was spent babysitting, but I did manage to fit in a beach trip, some volunteering, and a liiitle bit of free time! :)

  19. DUDE. When Acacia said you had nice feet, I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the photo too! Great minds think alike. ;)

My favorite part of this post was the being mimicked by the teenage guys. Gotta love that.
