(sorry for having to post this three times, comments weren't working before)
This beautiful thing arrived at my door this afternoon. When my aunt told me last wednesday that she was giving me $100 for my camera, I was completely ecstatic. It is completely gorgeous. I've been walking on air all afternoon.
I have taken over two hundred photographs already and could not possibly be happier. The clarity and beauty this camera gives is unbelievable. For those of you who haven't read my obsession posts, I've been saving for a 'new camera' since autumn 2009, and decided I wanted to get the Nikon d3000 in January 2011. I've finally gotten it.
I'll be back with more tomorrow. For now, I'll be taking more photographs.

congrats! you are going to LOVE it!! i remember how excited i was when i got my d3000 last august. some tips:
ReplyDelete-learn to shoot in manual! it gives you so much more control over the shot and really makes a big difference.
-get a prime for your second lens (you know you're going to want one sooner or later!). i bought a telephoto zoom as my second lens and i regret it as i barely use it now, especially after i got my 50mm 1.8 in june.
-get a lens cleaning kit if you don't already have one. your lens will get dirty and you don't want to damage it by cleaning it the wrong way!
